Turnips have a mild, delicate flavour and they're equally delicious fresh or roasted. Just bite into one!
Separate greens from roots and store each in plastic bags in the fridge. The roots will last a month or more if you keep them in a well sealed plastic bag where the condensation prevents the roots from drying out.
Cook those turnip greens! They're delicious sautéed or steamed. Use the roots raw sliced into salads or roast them.
