Turnips have a mild, delicate flavour and they're equally delicious fresh or roasted. Just bite into one!
Separate greens from roots and store each in plastic bags in the fridge. The roots will last a month or more if you keep them in a well sealed plastic bag - the condensation in the bag prevents the roots from drying out.
Cook those turnip greens! They're delicious sautéed or steamed. Use the roots raw sliced into salads or roast them.
