WINTER SQUASH
All of our varieties of winter squash are edible, though they of course make beautiful objects.
VARIETIES
Delicata
Autumn Frost (specialty butternut)
Red Kuri (hubbard)
Burgess Buttercup
Jarrahdale (pumpkin)
Porcelain Doll (pumpkin)

STORAGE
Store dry on the counter or in a pantry out of sunlight and they should last about a month, though check regularly, especially where they meet the counter surface as that's where mold will likely develop first! Wash with a damp cloth just before use.
COOKING TIPS
Each variety of squash is so different, some nutty, some creamy, some starchier than others. We recommend doing a search for the variety you have and finding specific recipes, but we've made pumpkin soup and butternut pie before so feel free to be inventive. Here are some ideas below!
